Sweet Spot

We enjoy a challenge!

1. You’ve found a product at a lower advertised price than ours, from another seller based in Malta. We will do our best to match that price.
2. You can't find exactly what you're looking for on our website and would like a particular item that you know is available in the USA or UK.
3. The item you'd like has a value of $US30 (excluding shipping and taxes), or more. We cannot quote for items of a lower value. Also, most computer cases that are not available from our regular suppliers will not be quoted for because of disproportionately high freight costs.


IMPORTANT FINE PRINT

Price matching with local sellers: Offers that include financing, bundling of items, free items, pricing errors, gift cards or vouchers will not be considered eligible. This also applies to items that are limited-quantity, out of stock, white or open-box, clearance, or refurbished/used. Note that we reserve the right to call the competitor's store to verify the lower price and availability of the item. Due to the differences in services being performed, Med-way does not match competitors' service prices. This includes, but is not limited to, services such as delivery, installation and computer services. We will not price match to a local competitor's price that has already been reduced by our price match. Price match requests are acknowledged and processed only when the form on this page is used; we not process these requests immediately on site or over the phone.

When considering items sold in the USA: Television related items would be set for NTSC (not PAL B/G that is in use here). Any products that use AC/DC transformers or direct mains connections would probably require 110V (not 230V). Although we list and sell a step-down transformer, it cannot bear certain loads, so forget about subwoofer speakers or UPSs. Should you need to make a warranty claim on a special product, the item would have to be sent back to the original supplier, examined, replaced or repaired and sent back to us via the same route it took to get to us. (This could take anything between three weeks to two months or more. We would not order a direct replacement immediately as is done on regular products). There may be standards that are not compatible with local or EU regulations/products. Should you decide to purchase the product, Med-way will not be responsible for the consequences of these different standards, and will not accept the product back. We may ask you for a deposit of between 10 and 25 percent of the quoted value. We don't have any special exemptions for products that are not allowed into Malta.

Delivery period for goods purchased in the USA: Most 'special products' would first be routed to our contact in the USA to be dispatched to us on the first Thursday after the goods get to him. To find out how long it would take for a product to be ready for collection you need to calculate the following (starting from the day when you receive acknowledgement and confirmation of the order from us or hand in your deposit, if requested).

1. The time it would take the item to arrive to another state within the USA (the website should tell you this), plus
2. Days remaining till the next Thursday, plus
3. Days till the following Wednesday

So, for example; if the order is processed on a Monday and the supplier needs 2 days to stock the item, then another 5 days ground dispatch to our consolidation point in the USA; the item would then be sent to Malta the following Thursday (by courier) and we'd have it available for you the following Wednesday. A total of 16 days would have elapsed.

When considering items sold in the UK: Malta uses similar plugs, voltage and standards as the UK, so pretty much anything available in the UK should work here. Always try to avoid asking for bulky items that are relatively cheap (like cases, speaker systems or UPSs) since the costs involved to import them by courier would be completely disproportionate to the price of the item itself.

Delivery period for goods purchased in the UK: Most 'special products' would first be routed to our contact in the UK to be dispatched to us within two or three working days. Assuming the supplier dispatches on the same day you confirm the order, you'd probably get the product within a week or 10 days.


WARRANTY

Med-way will automatically bear the responsibility for warranty claims on all special products purchased. Warranty period for most items purchased in the USA and the UK is 12 months; please check the supplier/manufacturer's website for specific details. As mentioned above; should you need to make a warranty claim on a special product, the item would have to be sent back to the original supplier, examined, replaced or repaired and sent back to us via the same route it took to get to us. This could take anything between three weeks to two months or more. We would not order a direct replacement immediately (as is done on regular products).
