Shopping risks You can order from our website, but, for now, we won't even ask you for your credit or debit card details. (Full payment is made when you take possession of the items you order.) You will be given a time-frame to cancel an order sent in by mistake. And you can always send us a regular email or give us a ring if you're in doubt about anything.
Payment Options At present we accept either cash or cheques when goods are delivered. If collecting your order from our Sliema office, you can also use; your Mastercard, VISA, Cashlink, APS Premier, EDC Maestro, VISA Electron, or JCB card. If applicable, you can also use your student Smart card.
Prices Prices are updated weekly and, normally, they drop. Computer hardware prices are also strongly effected by the strength or weakness of the US dollar.
Price drops are represented by a green down-arrow, price increases by a red up-arrow. 'New' products have a blue dot. When ordering, you're charged the price applicable at the time you confirm your shopping cart.
Delivery of orders We can deliver to any address in Malta or Gozo. Orders of a value of over €115 ex VAT are delivered free of charge. Deliveries of orders of a lower value than €115 ex VAT cost €4.70 ex VAT
Cancelling an order Orders for goods confirmed in stock may be cancelled within about an hour of receiving the second (not automated) email. Most other orders may be cancelled within approximately 24 hours. The exact time by when you may cancel an order will be put clearly on the second email you receive.
Terms & Conditions You may view our terms and conditions HERE.
Product availability You can see when a particular product is, or will be available, on the category or product's page. If an item is not in stock, click on "On Order". Most items that are not in stock would be available the Wednesday following the coming Thursday. Some products would be available within 2-3 weeks, others within 24 to 48 hours. Always assume that items described as "On Order" will become available only if they are ordered.
Keep in mind that stock levels shown on our website are accurate during our office hours; between 9.00am and 1pm, 2pm and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Whenever you confirm an order, you will first receive an automated email at your login email address. This email lists the products (and their prices) just ordered. It is an acknowledgement and proof that we have actually received your order at our office, and that your cart has been emptied.
A second email will follow if any of the items you've ordered are not in stock. Although it may appear to be automated, it isn't. (This will arrive shortly after the first email if the order was confirmed during our office hours; see above. If the order was confirmed outside office hours, this second email will arrive shortly after we open again.) The second email will inform you, accurately, of when the goods you ordered will be available.
When/if all the items you ordered are available, you'll receive an HTML copy of your bill and notification of collection or delivery.
Orders - and any stock level changes - are always confirmed or entered into our system by one of our staff (during office hours). It is only at this point that the website knows that there has been a change of stock level. This is why stock levels shown on our website are accurate during office hours only. When a cart order is received, we reserve the item/s if they are all in stock. However, if just one of the items ordered is not in stock, we will order ALL the items in the cart from our suppliers and not reserve any of our present stock. You will be informed of the day when you may expect to collect ALL the goods in the second email.
If you mix products with different availability times, the latest availability time will be applied to the whole order.
Essentially this means that if you want certain goods within 48 hours (disregarding weekends), ensure that you finalise and confirm your order, for goods marked "In stock" or "Within 48 hours" ONLY, during our office hours. By confirming during these hours you can be sure that items marked in stock are actually available immediately and that we will reserve and prepare them for you within minutes. You will receive confirmation regarding collection or delivery of the goods (together with the bill) right after the first automated acknowledgement.
If you are expecting your goods in a week or so, you will receive an email and the bill informing you that they should be collected or that they will be delivered shortly.
To summarise the above; 1) Confirm order 2) Receive first automated email; acknowledgement 3) Receive second email, not automated; a. If any goods were marked "On Order"; when you should get them and by when you may cancel the order. OR b. If all goods were marked "In stock"; bill and notice of collection/delivery. 4) Only if goods were "On Order"; Receive third email that goods have arrived, together with your bill.
All the above will be self explanatory when you receive each email.
